I had no idea what to do for today, since I wanted to add a fun element rather than just simple half moons. After some searching, I found these and absolutely loved them, so I decided to attempt these super cute half-moon crabs. Mine are not quite as good as hers, but I think they turned out pretty well. They’ll definitely make a super cute summer mani!
Sorry about the weird orientation of this photo – the crabs look much better this way.
I used Essie Apertif (I wanted a more orangey red, but the only one I own is a jelly and not ideal for nail art), Essie Sand Tropez, Essie As Gold as it Gets, Essie Blanc, and China Glaze Smoke and Ashes.
For simple directions, you can refer to Top Coat It’s original post. You should go check hers out either way. I want to make sure she receives credit for this ridiculously cute idea!
This was also the first time I successfully used hole reinforcement stickers to make half-moons. If not for fast drying topcoat, I would have totally lost patience!
